Thai Massage
Thai massage is an ancient form of bodywork typically performed on the floor. It includes yoga-like stretches and deep massage. Thai massage focuses on deep muscle stretching, joint release and an emphasis on the breath to increase energy flow and relaxation. Clients wear comfortable clothes to help with flexibility.

Chi Nei Tsang (Abdominal Chi Massage)

This therapy dares to take a dive into a realm that is seldom touched during massage. The abdomen is touched to help release tension and help detoxify the body’s organs at the same time. This massage uses controlled breathing and direct massage that address the vital system of the body, digestive, respiratory, lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, integumentary and muscular.

Reflexology-is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. This is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers on these reflex areas.  Reflexology includes, but is not limited to: Relieve stress and tension, improve blood supply and promote the unblocking of nerve impulses, and help nature achieve homeostasis.

Sound Therapy-is the use of tuning forks that works on “everything that exists in the physical, mental and emotional level does so on a vibratory basis as electrons are always in constant motion”.  This movement creates the potential for change and that includes within our very own brains and bodies. Sound Therapy is used to treat a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression and is also used to help learning and behavior challenges including ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, APD, ASD and many other conditions.

Swedish Massage-Swedish Massage is the most common and best known type of massage. It involves long, fluid strokes of muscles and tissues with pressure that varies from light to medium to firm. This type of massage is considered to be one of the most relaxing styles. Your massage therapists will adjust the pressure according to your sensitivity and preference.

Deep Tissue- therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). Deep Tissue Massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain and soreness in both large and small muscle groups.

Hot Stone Massage-Hot Stone Massage is a form of massage therapy that follows the same principles of Swedish Massage with the addition of heated stones or cold stones, which helps lead to deep relaxation. Adding heat to specific areas on the body enhances the feelings of relaxation and peace. Recommended in particular for individuals suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritis or other chronic pain. The penetrating effects of the heated stones allow the massage to be delivered without excessive pressure.

Trigger Point Therapy- Trigger points are sore, painful spots that occur in a muscle. Most people refer to trigger points as knots. They are called trigger points because they “trigger” a painful response that often refers pain to different parts of your body. Trigger Point Massage uses concentrations of finger pressure on each trigger point to prevent cycles of muscle pain and spasms. Trigger Point Massage provides benefits after just one session.

Sports Massage- A fast moving massage that aims to stretch tight muscles, stimulate inactive muscles and improve soft tissue condition. Sports Massage can enable you to move your body more freely with more flexibility and in time can improve your posture. As the name suggests it is popular with sports people, as it enhances performance, assists recovery and prevents injury. These are benefits we can all enjoy.

Prenatal Massage– Prenatal Massage is a nurturing massage that focuses on the special needs of mothers-to-be during pregnancy. Positioning, pillows and cushions are used to enhance support, decrease pressure and increase relaxation for both body and mind. Mother and baby share in the benefits as stress and tension melt away, leaving you feeling balanced and energized. Relief of stress on feet, ankles, low back and neck, as well as reducing swelling, are all benefits of a Prenatal Massage. Prenatal massage is only performed after the first trimester. It is advised that you consult with your doctor to see if prenatal massage is right for you. Additional restrictions may apply.

Chair Massage- This massage is done on a specially designed chair and focuses on the neck, shoulders and back. It offers better circulation and quick relaxation as it decreases muscles soreness, tension and stress.

Healing Touch- (HT Level 1) Is an energy healing therapy in which practitioners consciously use their hands in a heart-centered and intentional way to enhance, support and facilitate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and self-healing. HT utilizes light or near-body touch to clear, balance, and energizes the human energy system in order to promote health and healing for mind, body and spirit.
